The information provided here is collected from a number of sources to provide a comprehensive list of events scheduled at Greenfield Amphitheater. Children at the concerts?
We’ve had a lot of inquiry in the past about parents wondering if they need to buy a ticket for their child for the concerts at Greenfield. The policy is on a concert by concert by basis depending on the promoter, however, typically Children 5 and under are allowed in FREE of charge and do NOT need a ticket.

Can I bring a camera inside the amphitheater?
Camera policies vary from event to event. Video cameras and cameras with detachable lenses are always prohibited. Non professional cameras and camera phones are permitted at most events. Specific inquiries should be directed to promoters, as they set the policy for individual shows.
Where do I park?
The best place to park for shows at the amphitheater is in the grassy area along Lakeshore Drive between North Carolina Avenue and Honeysuckle Dr. behind Elderhous Adult Care. During larger events, there will be parking attendants assisting you. The easiest and most accessible entrance is from North Carolina Avenue off of Carolina Beach Rd. On street parking along Lakeshore Drive is also permitted. Parking along Amphitheater Drive is discouraged due to the difficulty in exiting this area after a show.
Is there a charge for parking?
Some events charge a fee for premium parking. There is always free parking available for every show.
Is tailgating allowed?
Alcohol is prohibited on City property and in Greenfield Park outside of the amphitheater. Grilling is also prohibited. There are no restrooms accessible outside of the amphitheater.
Are pets allowed?
Only services animals are permitted inside the amphitheater.
Can I bring a picnic?
With the exception of Shakespeare on the Green productions, NO outside food and beverages are permitted inside the amphitheater. The amphitheater has a full service concession stand on site, serving sandwiches, snacks, and beverages including wine and beer. The concession stand currently accepts cash only.
What can I bring inside the amphitheater?
Umbrellas and strollers are permitted inside the amphitheater.
What can I not bring inside the amphitheater?
- Most cameras
- Coolers (except for Shakespeare on the Green performances)
- Weapons
- Fireworks
- Air horns/noise makers
- Laser pens
- Solicitation material unless prior permission has been granted.
- Any other item deemed unsafe by the City of Wilmington
How do I purchase tickets?
Ticket outlets / distribution are individually determined by the event promoter. Tickets are not sold on site until the gates are open.
Is there an ATM on site?
Portable ATM’s are brought on site for some shows. The closest off site TM is located at the Bank of America at the corner of Carolina Beach Rd. and Tennessee Avenue less than a quarter mile from the amphitheater.
